1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It does not hold official criminal records, submit court documents, retrieve official files, or conduct an official background check for a visitor.

Its purpose is to identify Schuylkill County record custodians, the courts that hear local criminal cases, the Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository, and the Pennsylvania State Police Megan’s Law Public Website. Official agency access remains subject to Pennsylvania’s Criminal History Record Information Act, 18 Pa.C.S. Chapter 91, and the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law. Neither law makes this private website a records custodian. Outside search tools are available for visitors who choose to use them.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Every visitor agrees not to:

• Use an automated scraper, bot, or similar tool against the pages
• Interfere with performance or prevent another person from using the website
• Attempt unauthorized entry into a system or restricted area
• Use information to threaten, stalk, or harass another person
• Rely on content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
• Violate any applicable local, Pennsylvania, or federal law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No one may use information found here or through a linked tool to intimidate, threaten, stalk, harass, or discriminate against a person. Such conduct may also violate criminal law. Pennsylvania State Police warns that misuse of information from its Megan’s Law Public Website may result in criminal prosecution or civil liability. Registry information supports lawful public-safety awareness, not vigilantism, blacklisting, or discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Schuylkill County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not produce credit files, consumer reports, or background checks. Its advertising partners also do not offer linked services for evaluating job applicants, rental applications, insurance rates, or creditworthiness. A visitor must not use information from these pages or linked tools to:

• Make an employment decision
• Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
• Set an insurance premium or assess creditworthiness
• Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or public program
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A lawful check for a regulated purpose must come from the Pennsylvania State Police where appropriate or from a service that complies with the FCRA.

Website content is not legal advice. General information about Schuylkill County records cannot determine how a warrant, charge, conviction, or Pennsylvania expungement rule applies to one person. Consult a Pennsylvania-licensed attorney for that advice.

Criminal records change as charges are filed or dismissed and as courts restrict or expunge cases. Gaps and delays can occur. Nothing published here is an official statement from a court, county office, police department, or Pennsylvania agency.

Links lead to county offices, court portals, Pennsylvania agencies, legal resources, and outside search services. A destination controls its own content, availability, prices, and treatment of visitor data. Review that service’s terms because this website is not responsible for them.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, logos, graphics, and code belong to Schuylkill County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or used to create another work without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the website is not liable for damages arising from its use, including reliance on information found here or through an outside service.
